Nothing beats a refreshing Sparkling Hop Water on a warm, sunny day. So why not get creative and try using our new Sparkling Hop Water as a mix to create a tasty cocktail. Whether you'd like to mix a traditional spirit-based drink or a non-alcoholic version this is a recipe you're sure to enjoy. Curated by Bartender and Mixologist Katie Shewen, this zesty and spicy western breeze cocktail will shake up your taste buds!
METHOD: Muddle, shake, dump
-2 wheels of jalapeno, muddled
-1 oz tequila or non-alcoholic Seedlip Grove 42 or omit alcohol altogether, it will still be delicious!
-1 oz pineapple juice
-½ oz lime juice
-½ oz sage syrup**
-½ agave simple syrup*
-Welly Chinook Sparkling Hop Water
-lime wheel for garnish
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup water
-2 bunches of sage (leaves pulled)
Bring water to boil, add sugar and stir until clear. Add Sage Leaves and boil for 1 min. Remove from heat and let sit for 20min. Strain out leaves.
*AGAVE SIMPLE SYRUP
1:1 Hot Water to Agave Syrup
This is done to thin out the over the counter syrup.
- Put muddled jalapeno, tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, sage syrup, simple syrup, paprika and ice into a cocktail shaker and shake.
- Dump into glass.
- Top up with Chinook Sparkling Hop Water.
- Add extra ice if desired and garnish with lime wedge.
